Hi,
I know those who have been eagerly asking me for these, already got it from EB.
But now, here also a scan with the partslist for the 8110, Unimog U400. Click for larger view.
Full review going on at slow pace, as the time available as been scarce, preparing PLUG annual event in two weeks and work affairs... I'm still in the middle of the second book.

Hope the weekend will help to move on...
But having great fun! I'm sure you guys will delight with this new flagship from LEGO Technic.

A video review
@roeland
yeah, seen it!
Preparing also one soon. :)
Awesome, near 60 gears, pf, motorised pneumatics, live axle suspention, 4 wheel drive and a whole bunch of useful new parts. This set have got everything. Thanks for the upload!
Nice! Looking forward to this awesome set! Notice the pre-cut tubing and the substantial number of 7 U-joints.
Are you 100% sure it´s complete?There is no Axle 11 :/
@louis0304
Yes it is complete!
The Axle 11 was a big mis-finding... :(
So, though this has over 2000 parts, it's worth pointing out nearly a quarter of those parts are just pins. Still, that's kind of expected with sets of this size.
What about scanning the instruction manuals as well ;-)
I'm also a little sad that we have yet another set of special parts to mount the wheels. Why can the trial truck MOC builders can do it with stock parts but the Lego designers can't? Especially since they're dealing with drive forces not "turn the decorative pistons" forces.
@moz-geek
I guess it a strategy to keep high the interest of collectors and clients, to show that they are innovating, that there is something new. Any new part should nevertheless provide some benefit in terms of aesthetics or functionalities. I can't tell regarding these new parts, as unfortunatelly I don't have the set yet.
Any news regarding the price of this set ? Thanks
@Conchas:
What about your videos now? I saw someone posting them at the Eurobricks forum, but I think all of us here are starving for a detailed review of this model. (Not just videos, but also lots of text, images, impressions from your side, comparisons with other models' details, ...)
@java.lang
You're right!...
It is about half done, but my LUG annual event is opening tomorrow and I'm one of the two organizers...
Hence, the time availability has been well below the minimum.
I do not risk any more promises as I've not been able to keep them. But I'll publish it as soon as possible.
Good to hear that there are still plans for a review. Best luck for your LUG event (which of course has priority now)!
